La puce électronique doit être posée avant la vaccination antirabique. L'ordre compte : une vaccination administrée avant l'implantation ne sera pas reconnue par les autorités caïmanaises. Faites poser la puce en premier, puis planifiez le rendez-vous vaccinal. Notez la date d'implantation et conservez la preuve. Un vaccin daté avant la puce impose de tout recommencer, avec des semaines perdues.
Quatre races sont interdites d'entrée : Pit Bull Terrier, Dogo Argentino, Fila Brazileiro et Japanese Tosa, ainsi que leurs types apparentés. Vérifiez l'ascendance et le type de votre animal avant toute réservation. Rassemblez des documents attestant la race pour éviter un refus à l'arrivée. Un chien classé dans l'un de ces types se verra refuser l'importation.
Questions fréquentes
Mon animal a-t-il besoin d'une puce électronique pour Cayman Islands ? Oui. Cayman Islands exige une puce électronique aux normes ISO, posée avant la vaccination antirabique pour être valable. Y a-t-il une quarantaine pour les animaux entrant en Cayman Islands ? Non. Les animaux qui respectent les règles d'entrée de Cayman Islands — puce, vaccination antirabique valable et documents — entrent sans quarantaine.
