L'ordre des étapes décide de tout. L'identification par puce électronique ou par tatouage clairement lisible doit précéder la vaccination antirabique. Faites poser la puce en premier. Vaccinez ensuite votre chien contre la rage. Un vaccin administré avant la puce ne compte pas et impose de recommencer le vaccin. Vérifiez la date de puçage sur le passeport avant le rendez-vous vaccinal.
Prévoyez une quarantaine de 10 jours. Après leur entrée sur le territoire de la République tchèque, les chiens sont placés en quarantaine pendant 10 jours. Réservez un hébergement conforme dès l'arrivée. Bloquez ces 10 jours dans votre calendrier de voyage. Limitez les contacts de l'animal durant cette période. Confirmez les modalités d'isolement auprès des autorités locales avant le départ.
