Voici les points qui décident vraiment de votre entrée, sans jargon inutile ni panique de dernière minute.
Voyager au Danemark avec son animal demande trois documents dans le bon ordre : une puce électronique, un vaccin antirabique dans la fenêtre d'attente de la destination, et un certificat sanitaire émis par les autorités. Le tableau ci-dessous détaille ce qui est requis, ce qui ne l'est pas, et d'où vient chaque règle.
Comment Danemark traite votre animal Greenland is NOT in the EU but is part of the Kingdom of Denmark. Mandatory import permit from the Greenland Representation in Copenhagen (Groenlands Repraesentation) is required for ALL pet imports, in addition to local municipality approval which must be obtained first. Dogs are FORBIDDEN north of the 66th parallel (Kangaamiut northward, including Sisimiut, Kangerlussuaq, Qaanaaq) and throughout East Greenland east of the 44th western longitude, to protect the genetic integrity of the Greenlandic sled-dog population. Permit and all certificates must accompany the animal to Greenland or it will be denied entry. Processing time approx. 3 business days. La date de vaccination antirabique ne doit jamais précéder la pose ou la lecture de la puce électronique. Le chien doit avoir au moins 12 semaines le jour de la vaccination. Faites poser la puce en premier, puis vaccinez. Conservez les deux dates sur le certificat. Vérifiez la chronologie avant le départ : une vaccination antérieure à la puce invalide tout le dossier d'entrée.
Treize races de chiens restent interdites d'entrée au Danemark. La liste inclut le Bull Terrier, le Tosa Inu, l'American Staffordshire Terrier, le Fila Brasileiro, le Dogo Argentino et l'American Bulldog. Vérifiez la race exacte inscrite sur les documents avant toute réservation. Un chien concerné par cette interdiction ne peut pas franchir la frontière, quel que soit le reste du dossier vétérinaire.
Questions fréquentes
Mon animal a-t-il besoin d'une puce électronique pour Danemark ? Oui. Danemark exige une puce électronique aux normes ISO, posée avant la vaccination antirabique pour être valable. Combien de temps avant le voyage le vaccin antirabique doit-il être fait pour Danemark ? Le vaccin antirabique doit prendre effet au moins 21 jours avant l'entrée, et peut être administré dès 12 semaines. Voyager avant ce délai rend la vaccination invalide à la frontière. Et si mon vol est retardé au-delà de la validité du certificat sanitaire ? Si la fenêtre du certificat expire avant l'embarquement, il faudra le faire réémettre. Prévoyez 1 à 2 jours de marge entre la date du certificat et le départ pour absorber les retards mineurs. Que se passe-t-il si j'oublie un document ? À l'aéroport de destination : au mieux, une inspection prolongée le temps que vous trouviez une copie ; au pire, l'animal est mis en quarantaine ou renvoyé à l'origine à vos frais. Apportez des copies imprimées.
Le permis d'importation exige un délai de 30 jours. Déposez la demande au moins 30 jours avant la date de voyage prévue. Le test de titrage des anticorps antirabiques s'ajoute à la vaccination et sa prise de sang intervient pendant cette période. Bloquez ce délai dans votre calendrier : sans ce mois d'avance, l'entrée au Danemark devient impossible.
