Comptez cet intervalle sur un calendrier, pas de mémoire, et placez le vaccin pour que le cinquième jour tombe largement avant le départ. Le résumé vétérinaire AQS-39 rappelle le même intervalle, aux côtés de la puce électronique et du test OIE-FAVN.
Les documents reçus par la station de quarantaine 10 jours ou plus avant l'arrivée maintiennent le frais de libération à l'aéroport à 185 USD. Un envoi plus tardif fait passer ce montant à 244 USD par chien ou chat. Expédiez le dossier avec un suivi, puis confirmez la réception par téléphone plutôt que de supposer la livraison. Ce seuil de 10 jours change le prix.

Mon animal a-t-il besoin d'une puce électronique pour Hawaii ? Oui. Hawaii exige une puce électronique aux normes ISO, posée avant la vaccination antirabique pour être valable. Combien de temps avant le voyage le vaccin antirabique doit-il être fait pour Hawaii ? Le vaccin antirabique doit prendre effet au moins 5 jours avant l'entrée. Voyager avant ce délai rend la vaccination invalide à la frontière. Et si mon vol est retardé au-delà de la validité du certificat sanitaire ? Prévoyez cette somme séparément des frais aériens, des consultations vétérinaires et du test OIE-FAVN, car elle ne couvre que le programme de l'État. Manquer un intervalle de vaccination renvoie l'animal vers la filière longue, facturée en entier : le trajet le moins cher passe par un calendrier préparé des mois à l'avance.
