Voyager en Slovaquie avec son animal demande trois documents dans le bon ordre : une puce électronique, un vaccin antirabique dans la fenêtre d'attente de la destination, et un certificat sanitaire émis par les autorités. L'ordre compte autant que les étapes elles-mêmes. La puce doit être posée avant l'injection antirabique. Un vaccin administré sur un animal non pucé ne compte pas. Vérifiez la date de pose sur le passeport avant de programmer le vaccin. Le vétérinaire scanne la puce à chaque visite. Faites poser la puce en premier, puis fixez le rendez-vous vaccinal.
Questions fréquentes
Mon animal a-t-il besoin d'une puce électronique pour Slovaquie ? Oui. Slovaquie exige une puce électronique aux normes ISO, posée avant la vaccination antirabique pour être valable. Combien de temps avant le voyage le vaccin antirabique doit-il être fait pour Slovaquie ? Le vaccin antirabique doit prendre effet au moins 21 jours avant l'entrée, et peut être administré dès 12 semaines. Voyager avant ce délai rend la vaccination invalide à la frontière. Et si mon vol est retardé au-delà de la validité du certificat sanitaire ? Si la fenêtre du certificat expire avant l'embarquement, il faudra le faire réémettre. Prévoyez 1 à 2 jours de marge entre la date du certificat et le départ pour absorber les retards mineurs. Que se passe-t-il si j'oublie un document ? À l'aéroport de destination : au mieux, une inspection prolongée le temps que vous trouviez une copie ; au pire, l'animal est mis en quarantaine ou renvoyé à l'origine à vos frais. Apportez des copies imprimées.
Le délai d'attente impose un calendrier strict. Comptez 30 jours entre la vaccination et le départ. Marquez la date d'injection, ajoutez trente jours, puis choisissez le vol après cette échéance. Une réservation trop rapprochée oblige à tout reporter. Programmez le vaccin dès la pose de la puce pour absorber ces trente jours sans stress de dernière minute.
