Namibia accepts an electronic signature from the issuing veterinarian, and accepts a digital endorsement from the APHIS Veterinary Medical Officer too, with no original ink signature required for either one of them. That's more flexible than many African destinations that still demand a physical signature on paper. Submit the certificate through VEHCS for that digital endorsement rather than mailing anything by post.
A 30-day quarantine is required upon arrival in Namibia, alongside the veterinary certificate, rabies vaccination record, and import permit already needed for entry. That 30-day hold applies on top of every other document, not instead of any of them. Plan the arrival date around a full month of quarantine before booking any return flights.
Namibia's import permit fee is N$150.00, payable at any government institution approved to receive state funds under the designated allocation number for this purpose. The receipt from that payment needs to be kept and referenced again on arrival at the border. Pay the N$150 fee well ahead of travel and keep the receipt with the rest of the paperwork.
