No import permit, no quarantine, no titre test: an original veterinary health certificate from the official services of the country of origin carries the trip. Banned breeds: Pit-bull, Rott Weiler, Tosa, Mastiff ou Boer bull verified 2026-09-14

Pets must be accompanied by the original veterinary health certificate issued by the official veterinary services of the country of origin. Original and official are both load-bearing: a private clinic's certificate does not satisfy this, and a scan or photocopy is not accepted at the border. Arrange the official endorsement, and carry the signed paper document in hand luggage.
Dangerous or attack dogs of the following breeds are refused: the Pit-bull, Rottweiler, Tosa, and Mastiff or Boerbull. The Rottweiler on that list is worth noting, because many neighbouring countries permit it. No microchip or vaccination record creates an exception. Confirm the breed recorded on the veterinary documents before travel is booked.
Tunisia is a light file with one heavy condition. The certificate must be an original issued by the official services, and five dog types simply cannot come.
