Emirates SkyCargo interdit les races brachycéphales au museau écrasé, ainsi que tous leurs croisements. Vérifiez la morphologie du chien avant toute réservation en soute. Un croisement partageant ces traits reste concerné par l'interdiction. Consultez la liste officielle des races écartées auprès d'Emirates. Un chien au museau plat n'est pas accepté au transport, quelle que soit la destination visée.
Questions fréquentes
Combien coûte le transport d'un animal sur Emirates ? Sur les vols en France métropolitaine, Emirates facture à partir de 1150 CAD en cabine, par trajet et par animal. Les trajets plus longs coûtent davantage — vérifiez votre itinéraire exact. Et si mon vol est retardé au-delà de la validité du certificat sanitaire ? Si la fenêtre du certificat expire avant l'embarquement, il faudra le faire réémettre. Prévoyez 1 à 2 jours de marge entre la date du certificat et le départ pour absorber les retards mineurs. Que se passe-t-il si j'oublie un document ? À l'aéroport de destination : au mieux, une inspection prolongée le temps que vous trouviez une copie ; au pire, l'animal est mis en quarantaine ou renvoyé à l'origine à vos frais. Quand l'animal et sa caisse dépassent 32 kg, avec des dimensions comprises entre 150 cm et 300 cm, Emirates facture le transport en soute 800 USD, soit 1150 CAD pour un aller simple. Pesez l'ensemble avant le départ. Mesurez la caisse dans ses trois dimensions. Prévoyez ce montant dès la réservation, distinct du prix du siège passager.
