Snub-nosed breeds require extra handling before travel is approved. Confirm the breed against the airline's brachycephalic list before booking. Sedation of an animal is not recommended for the day of the trip. Consult a veterinarian instead of medicating the dog. Complete the DOCUMENTOS-ANIMALES paperwork and follow the day-of-trip recommendations for these breeds ahead of departure.
